Why "Get quick rich" schemes don’t work

NOTE: If you are new to my blog, you can subscribe to RSS feed.

The reason is actually simple !

Almost all such schemes do not satisfy fundamental rules entrepreneurship or business. In summary — No pain, no gain.

what are the rules ?

  • You need to organize
  • You need to manage and control
  • You need to take considerable initiative
  • You need to definitely take sizable risk
  • You need to provide “value” to your customers.

Let’s say you get involved in first two activities, which is organizing and managing the activities. That’s good beginning. However, if rest of three elements are missing, it still does not complete the equation of entrepreneurship.

There are no “Risk free Returns”. No Risk, No returns.

It is either business or any investment, rule remains same. You need to presume risk. Of course, you can live with no risk or minimal risk. But then don’t expect great returns. And importantly, don’t complain about it :)

So, if you are working for someone else, you are most likely NOT utilizing your full potential rather you are wasting your time. It is time you revaluate your risk/return scenario. I will be writing separately on this blog about my views on being employer Vs. Employee.

The day you overcome fear of taking risk ( and then possibly failing ), it is time your competitors should start fearing you. To be frank, I am afraid of taking too much risk too. Of course, it needs to be calculated risk, but at times risk is blind. There is nothing called “calculated”. Now, that depends on situation, but at the end, you only have binary choice — Yes or No.

Well, I am working on making “risk” my friend and not “enemy” ! It may be long and continuous process, but I know “returns” are waiting for me and “risk” will show me way to reach there. !

If you want to make it big, say bye-bye to all those “No risk” jobs/ventures like “selling stuff at home”, or “Selling Amway ( or Quickstar ) stuff to your friends” and be an real entrepreneur. Take risk, returns will follow you !!!
